Suffolk ACRE

Making life better

Village Halls

Never before have Village Halls and their management committees been under such pressure. A combination of increasing legislation, the continual erosion of grant funding and the reduction in rural services means that many halls and their communities are being strained to the absolute limit.

Suffolk ACRE offers its members advice and information on a wide range of topics including charity and constitutional law, financial and funding matters. Membership also includes dedicated professional support, regular updates on legal changes affecting community buildings and links with other halls across the country. No matter how serious or seemingly trivial the matter, Suffolk ACRE is keen to help. Contact us by phone on 01473 242500 (switchboard), 01473 242559 (direct) or via e-mail: robert.horn@suffolkacre.org.uk

In addition to offering advice by telephone, letter, fax and e-mail, Suffolk ACRE also has a series of information sheets and other publications which contain a wealth of knowledge. Copies of the information sheets, as listed below, can be sent to members free of charge by e-mail. There is a small charge if they are sent by post.
