Rural Fuel Campaign

Suffolk ACRE, and in particular it's Chief Executive Wil Gibson has for some time now been pressing the relevant authorities on the cost of fuel in rural areas.
In the past few weeks and months this has been formulated into a campaign for lower fuel prices, where we have been lobbying for action on this critical aspect of rural life.
Below are responses from 2 local MP's - Matthew Hancock (West Suffolk MP) and David Ruffley (MP for Bury St Edmunds), plus an official response from The Treasury.

Chief Exec Wil Gibson has also had various press communications including the one below with Mark Murphy of Radio Suffolk, where he continues the campaign for lower rural fuel prices.

All of the above is a show of Suffolk ACRE's own response to rural fuel prices and its endeavour, not to just talk about it, but to actually get some concrete action from it's work.
We will be keeping this page updated with all the latest rural fuel price campaign news.
