Improving Computer Skills – FREE COURSES

Uk Online Leaflet

Suffolk A.C.R.E is a charity based in Ipswich and our key role is to promote and support community self-help. We have a number of different projects under our roof.

In support of these activities, we are a UK Online Centre enabling us to provide access to free on-line courses which we can help individuals to improve their language and computer skills.

By being a UK Online Centre, we are connecting people – to technology, to each other, to government, to their communities and to society as a whole. For individuals this means the opportunity to learn new skills and opportunities, raise self-esteem and provide new choices and chances.

By spending a few, fun hours with us, users will be able to access the world of the internet, from searching for a job to ordering food shopping online. As they do this, they will also be able to learn about computers and how to use them. There is also a short, online course to help those who have English as a second language to improve their English Skills.

Enclosed with this letter is a poster. Would you please put this poster in a prominent place so that as many people as possible can see it?

Do computers scare you ?
