Corporate Social Responsiblity
Suffolk ACRE takes its corporate social responsibility very seriously and aims to do as much as possible to ensure that our business and activities have the minimum effect on the environment. Our environmental policy ensures that solutions are in place to deal with areas of impact such as energy, waste and transport.
At our site we:-
- Use recycled paper for printing
- Re-use paper where possible
- Recycle all suitable materials e.g. paper, plastics, foil, glass
- Compost all suitable materials and use this on our flowerbeds
- Have energy saving lighting and heating systems throughout our buildings
- Use environmentally friendly cleaning products
- Purchase fair trade coffee and tea
- Encourage staff and visitors to travel using a sustainable mode and promote Suffolk Car Share to support Suffolk Creating the Greenest County initiative
- Use local catering services who use locally sourced food
- Donate old computer equipment for refurbishment and recycling
- Recycle used printer cartridges
- Recycle old mobile phones
