	<title>Buzabout now extended to serve Wherstead Road on Friday and Saturday evenings</title>

	From Friday 3 February 2012 residents living on or near to Wherstead Road will be able to use the Buzabout community transport service on Friday and Saturday evenings.

	The wheelchair accessible minibus used can pick them up and drop them back at any of the bus-stops along Wherstead Road between Bourne Bridge and the Rapier Street roundabout. It will be able to provide single or return journeys to Cardinal Park, The Old Cattle Market Bus Station, Ipswich waterfront and Ipswich Rail Station where they can have an evening out or catch other public transport services for onward travel.

	A NEW scheme to help community groups develop local food projects has been launched.

	The new Local Foods Suffolk project &ndash; spearheaded by rural charity Suffolk ACRE &ndash; is offering financial help to get ideas off the ground.

	Its grant scheme can give out awards of up to &pound;500 to groups who demonstrate their project will benefit the community.

	Examples given include planting a community orchard, revamping a rundown allotment site or organising a lunch club.

	What is SWEP?

	Ipswich Borough Council has a responsibility to offer rough sleepers the &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;

	opportunity to access accommodation during periods of extreme cold weather. Rough sleepers are likely to include vulnerable people, some of whom may have no recourse to public funds. This winter Ipswich Borough Council, in partnership with Genesis Housing Association, will offer 12 emergency beds, based at Cavendish lodge, a Genesis scheme in Ipswich.

	Each guest will be provided with a camp bed and blankets and will have access to a simple kitchen and a WC. Food and shower facilities will not be provided, but in the morning people ... ]]></description>
